ERP Application Consultant – Administration, Finance & Control Area

We are looking for a motivated professional to join our organization in the ERP Business Applications division, which manages key projects for clients in the manufacturing and service sectors.

The selected candidate will work within the Administration, Finance & Control area and must have a solid understanding of accounting and logistics processes.

The role may involve on-site work at client offices and therefore requires full availability for national and international travel.

The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team working on international projects for medium-sized companies operating in global markets.

A structured training and onboarding period on the job will be provided.

The role, in direct contact with the end client, includes the following activities:

  • Technical and functional analysis of ERP implementation and customization requirements
  • Mapping and redesign of business processes (“As-Is” / “To-Be”)
  • Implementation and configuration of ERP solutions
  • Testing and validation of application results
  • Training and support for end users during system adoption;

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous experience with ERP systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Office suite, with familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Strong communication and relational skills
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to understand client needs
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects, deadlines, and objectives
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • University degree (preferred)
  • At least 5 years of experience;

ERP Consultant – Production & Logistics Area

SOME is looking for motivated professionals to join its Milan office within the ERP Management Systems division, focusing on production and logistics.

The selected candidate will be part of the business unit responsible for the implementation of next-generation ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems at both national and international level for medium-sized companies.

The role requires a solid understanding of production and logistics processes typically found in mid-sized manufacturing companies.

A strong knowledge of the following areas is required: production planning and control, bills of materials, routing and production cycles, warehouse and logistics management, production cost control, and quality processes, as well as a good understanding of sales and purchasing workflows.

The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team working on international projects for medium-sized companies operating in global markets.

The position involves both on-site and client-facing activities and requires full availability for national and international business travel.

The candidate will be involved in all phases of ERP implementation and will interact with key users to gather business requirements and support the customization of the software.

The role, in direct contact with the end client, includes the following activities:

  • Technical and functional analysis related to required implementations and modifications, through the mapping of requirements, system processes, and the Administration – Finance – Control function;

  • Design and implementation of solutions aligned with business process modeling in both “As-Is” and “To-Be” scenarios;

  • Functional validation of process outputs and application testing;

  • Training, assistance, and support to users during the use of product functionalities;

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Previous experience with ERP management systems
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases and Microsoft Office suite, along with strong proficiency in advanced data access and analysis tools, business intelligence, and reporting systems
  • Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities aimed at addressing client needs
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, operating within projects, objectives, and deadlines
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience;
